April 2nd 2010

We had the most food for this chapter ever last Friday, we Made rice, beans and vegetables, loafs of bread, tons of canned foods, we made Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, we also served at the first Baptist Church. A very successful day, maybe 6 people showed up to help, but we had to have served close to or more than 50 people, with plenty of food left over. Afterward we made a large donation of cooked and non-perishable food to the river house. Good day.

Also, this past Monday I got a lot of day old treats from "whats brewing" and some oranges and two loafs of bread from Coastal grocers.

  1. Do you have to be a student to help out on serving days or can anyone?

I live down the street and I heard about FNB the other day at What's Brewing. When I can, I'd love to help and I'd like to know how I can do that.

This is such a good thing. I'm glad it's happening right in my own town. :)
